Talk to Emmanuel. . .

Emmanuel at a sunset by the coast of California

and sooner or later you will realize his family and The Bible, the Word of God, are two of the main sources of inspiration into his life.  You will also notice that another spring, which motivates him, has a name which encompass a vast, ample territory: nature.

From his family. . .

Solo on a muddy road

he inherited the spirit of adventure, the determination to pursue a goal in spite of the most difficult, challenging circumstances.  The endurance to continue pressing on when things seems not to be as we had planed... and turn against us.  The understanding of diversity among the human race.  The love for his neighbors.  The beauty of dreaming dreams... that only few dare to dream.  The wonders of making those dreams come true.  The Spanish language.  The Argentinean culture.  And more than anything else the love for God and His Word. The belief that God Himself came to this earth as a man in the person of Jesus Christ.  The certainty that He is The Savior of all men, The Messiah that His people Israel are waiting for.

From The Bible. . .

The Dalton Highway, North Alaska, around 2:00 AM

he receives the light that illuminates his path.  The spiritual food that nurtures him.  The compass that shows him the way to go in the midst of the cloudiness of this world.  The certainty that there is a purpose in life way beyond this life.  The faith.  The hope.  The love. The inspiration itself that all things are possible for those who believe.  "For by You I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall."  Psalm 18:29.  The wisdom, the grace, the virtue.  The assurance that God is Who He is.  The joy in the fellowship of God, which allows him to... bike it solo.

In nature. . .

Emmanuel by a river in North Alaska

he sees God's creation.  He comes into fellowship with The One in whom he believes with his entire heart.  God the creator of heaven and earth. In that fellowship he finds life and peace that reflects through his life.

And the greatest inspiration of all that sustains him as he bikes it solo. .  .
